Dumbing It Down

Have you noticed no one ever talks about Americans getting smarter? This blog isn’t going to help the situation. Tonight I was watching SportsCenter and Linda Cohn shared this gem with me (and anyone else who was watching). “With that BJ Upton became the first person, whose name starts with U, to hit multiple homeruns in an MLB postseason game.” Wow?

What a meaningless stat. And the worst part is that she didn’t just make that up off the top of her head. Someone had taken the time to research that and then script it out. That’s called being so smart you’re dumb.

Hopefully, this blog can continue to be a collection of the equally absurd: quotes, clothes, actions–anything that stands out and makes people take notice for all the wrong reasons. In other words, if something makes you have the same look as the girl in the picture, then it’s the kind of thing that this blog is all about.
